PPM rates info system
Problem definition:
The system described under section "Customer Complaint System" was used to record customer and internal complaints with the affected article quantities. It therefore made sense to place this data in an overall context.
Situation before:

Situation afterwards:
With the recorded internal and external quantities and defective articles, the corresponding PPM rates could be generated. These were then broken down according to their master data by article groups or production locations. The only drawback was that the production periods of the bulk items could not be determined due to the impossibility of article identification and therefore the reference value of the basic quantity had to be treated with a certain amount of caution.
The most precise statements can of course be made with the internal PPM rates, as they are directly related to the resources, materials and technologies used. Authorized users were able to query the PPM range for products, product families or even individually compiled article groups via the web interface and store them for later retrieval.
